SimbaProvider OLAP SDK Product Upgrade

 

Simba has released the following product update, available as a free download to customers with a current SimbaProvider support and maintenance agreement.

 

SimbaProvider OLAP SDK 4.4

 

SimbaProvider SDK 4.4 incorporates many notable enhancements, including the addition of 64-bit XMLA support which best utilizes the full bandwidth and all of the memory in new 64-bit servers and operating systems that are gaining ubiquity within the marketplace. SimbaProvider SDK 4.4 also includes: up to 15% performance improvement in cell retrieval of ODBO providers; added support for Visual Studio 2010-based data provider development; added support for Windows 7 SP1; and, added option to create customized Data Link Property connection dialog tabs for ODBO providers, so vendors can tailor the information needed from client application users to make and store a connection.
